It is the dawn of the new year. I will not talk about resolutions, but how about we talk about how the things we do influence our future. Take your time and really answer these questions. It’s probably the best thing you could do today, if you allow yourself some time.
What did you do in the recent period that gave you a good feeling, the feeling of time well spent?
Do you start your morning by accomplishing something? Did you make your bed this morning? And every morning?
What did you do recently that sucked your energy in a fruitless way? How can you do less of that?
Have you paid enough attention to your health lately? When was the last time you went for a routine check-up?
Who are the people you spend the more time with? Are they making you feel like a VIP or like a victim?
Let’s use the lessons of the past to shape a smooth future. They are our best friends, if we take time to “visit” them once in a while. They become our wisdom, if we take time to integrate them.
